2019-01-08 FCDCC Meeting Notes

We met in the Eagle 3 room at the Aztlan Center, 112 E Willow Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524

Please welcome Jeff, Dave, Pete, Lily and her husband, who were visiting our club.

Please pay your dues for 2019 to Dave Chamness at the next meeting if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join.

Check out the SIGs (Special Interest Groups); they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills.

Please send your SIG outing schedules to info@fcdcc.com so I can add them to the website.

Send your photograph submittals (corrected fix-it-photos, club outings, challenge topics, or your favorite images) to Walter Lyons at photoeditor@fcdcc.com. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send in 3 or fewer pictures for the slideshow, and send them by Sunday evening so Walt has time to create the slideshow. We also accept short videos for the slideshow.

The Post Processing SIG has decided to try private tutoring. Please contact Stephanie, Rich or Harry if you are interested in being a mentor or having a mentor help you.

Macro SIG will start up again after the first of the year.

The Wildlife SIG will schedule an outing to the Butterfly Pavillion in January or February.
