2018-08-14 FCDCC Meeting Notes We met in the Eagle 1 room at the Aztlan Center, 112 E Willow Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524 Please welcome Jo'lene, Jennifer, Frawg, Vern and Pete who were visiting our club. Please pay your dues for 2018 to Rich Ernst at the next meeting if you haven't already paid. You can find him at most meetings. Annual dues are $25/member with $15 for a spouse and $10 for each additional child under 18. Dues are prorated based on the month you join. Check out the SIGs (Special Interest Groups); they have been holding lots of meetings and going on lots of outings. Participating in a SIG is an excellent way to develop your skills. Please send your SIG outing schedules to info@fcdcc.com so I can add them to the website. Send your photograph submittals (corrected fix-it-photos, club outings, challenge topics, or your favorite images) to Walter Lyons at photoeditor@fcdcc.com. Remember to send in before and after versions of your pictures so we can learn about post processing. Please send in 3 or fewer pictures for the slideshow, and send them by Sunday evening so Walt has time to create the slideshow. We also accept short videos for the slideshow. September meeting challenge topics: Interactions with nature and Funny-but-humorous. We will be electing new club officers soon, so start thinking about volunteering to be a club officer. Monique Renee will be our next club president. We need new leaders for some of the SIGs, and if you would like to start a new SIG, consider volunteering to lead it. You can share leadership for a SIG if you and another club member prefer.
