How to create a mandala using Photoshop

1. size image to max dimension = 2000px
2. change canvas size to 5000px x 5000px
3. convert bgnd layer to a normal layer
4. copy image layer (CTL-J)
5. reflect copy horizontally
6. move new layer so it is adjacent and touching side of old layer
7. merge layers (CTL-SHFT-J)
8. copy image layer again (CTL-J) 
9. reflect new copy vertically
10. move new layer so it is adjacent and touching top of old layer
11. merge layers (CTL-SHFT-J)
12. center image
13. copy layer (CTL-J)
14. rotate new layer 90 degrees
15. copy layer (CTL-J)
16. rotate new layer 45 degrees
17. copy layer (CTL-J)
18. rotate new layer 90 degrees
19. group all layers (select all layers; CTL-G)
20. convert group to smart object (right click; Convert to Smart Object)
21. Layer | Smart Objects | Stack Mode | select a stack mode
