Emotive Side of Photography Workshop by Blake Rudis
Thursday 8/20 from 6pm to 8pm
The content I have prepared is more on the emotive side of photography and how you can tap into your inner artist to make more compelling work. The second half shows how I use these skills to make other camera club photos more compelling by tapping into the emotive side. It is like a critique / advice session. The presentation is two parts. 40 minutes of presentation, with live Q&A, then another presentation showing how I use that knowledge on other people's work (like a critique session). I did it for a group last Monday and it was wildly accepted :) Your group will be with other camera clubs as I am trying to maximize my time while delivering high quality to the clubs. Combining groups helps me so I don't have to do these 24/7 as the interest is MUCH greater than I had originally imagined. Hope to see you at the workshop.

SIG Meetings/Outings

Landscape SIG meeting - Mon 8/24 6:00pm to 8:00pm - ONLINE using ZOOM
We will be sharing images of our virtual field trip into RMNP. Up Fall River Road for wildflowers, Chasm Falls and scenery and on top of Trail Ridge for Elk, sunset, comet etc. The plan is to get your own images together (10 each) and share at the time of the meeting. Don’t send images to me beforehand. Remember this is not just a pretty picture time but an educational opportunity to discuss imaging techniques and post processing. To share your images please either place them in a directory or combine them in a presentation file (PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.). Everyone in the club is invited to listen in, particularly new members. Questions will always be welcome.
