Colorado Model Railroad Museum - 680 10th St, Greeley, CO 80631
Meet at Harmony Transportation Center NE corner, leave at 9:30am

Please join me for the club photo-shoot at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum, 680 10th St, Greeley, CO 80631. The Museum's winter hours are Fri & Sat: 10 am - 4 pm and Sunday: 1 - 4 pm. Their website is: https://www.cmrm.org/. There is an entrance fee: adults $10.00 and 65+ $8.00. The photo-shoot will be the morning of Friday, March 29th. For carpooling we will meet at the northeast corner of the Harmony Road Transportation Center parking lot. We will leave for the museum at 9:30 am for the 30-minute drive. Please let me know if you will be participating so that no one is left behind. After the photo-shoot, we may go out for lunch at a local restaurant. Tripods are allowed. A telephoto lens such as 24 to 105 mm or 18 to 135 mm is a reasonable choice. A flash may be useful.

Frozen Dead Guy Days - Mar 8-10
A fun shoot is the Frozen Dead Guys Festival held each year in Nederland, CO. The festival is free unless you want to pay for the music tents (I don’t) and there’s plenty to shoot with the parade, coffin races, polar plunge, etc. Best way to go is take a shuttle bus from Boulder or Denver to Nederland as there is absolutely no parking there. Shuttle bus RT is about $11.50 Went last year, and just got my bus ticket for this year!
Sat 3/23 10am-5pm - CSU Track Meet - Free track meet at Jack Christiansen Track at CSU (corner of Pitkin and College). Shot Put, Discus, High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Javelin, Triple Jump, and Running Events
