The Knights of the Tempest are a local jousting troupe that will be jousting and fighting with a variety of weapons from horseback at the Oasis Equestrian Center. When the horses get tired we will move to the Rock Gardens on North College Ave to shoot pictures of the Knights. Please contact Mike Barry info@fcdcc.com if you are interested. The knights are happy to pose for us if we send them our best pictures.
Oasis Equestrian Center Location: 2024 N. Whitcomb st. Fort Collins, CO 80524

Wildlife SIG Outing - April 21 @6am - The first FCDCC Wildlife SIG outing of the year will be Saturday April 21, to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge outside of Denver. There are generally a range of wildlife subjects; but, at this time of the year there should be young of the year Bison calves less than a month old. As to gear; the Bison can literally be from the other side of the road to a half mile away. So while a long lens in the 400mm to 600mm range allows for more versatility, shorter lenses in the 200mm to 300mm range can also work. For car pooling, we will be meeting at 6:00 a.m. at the north east corner of the Harmony Road Transportation Center. As always, please let me know if you are planning to attend and be at the Harmony TC so that no one is left behind. - Guy
